Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: Warm the plant-based milk to lukewarm temperature, sprinkle in active dry yeast and 1 tablespoon sugar. Let sit 5 minutes until foamy. In a large bowl, combine the flour, 1/4 cup sugar, vegetarian Worcestershire sauce (natural), and salt. Add the yeast mixture and softened plant-based butter. Knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  2. Create the Cinnamon Filling: Mix brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and softened plant-based butter until smooth and spreadable. Spread evenly over rolled-out dough.
  3. Roll and Cut the Dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll dough into a 12×16 inch rectangle. Spread the cinnamon filling evenly, then roll tightly from the long side to form a log. Slice into 12 equal pieces and place snugly in a greased baking dish.
  4. Let the Rolls Rise Again: Cover rolls with a clean towel and let rise for 30-40 minutes until puffy.
