Description

Easy Deviled Eggs are a quick, creamy, and smoky snack perfect for any time of day. Made with plant-based mayo and crispy smoked turkey bacon, these protein-packed bites offer a rich and flavorful twist on a classic favorite, ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

Eggs

  • 6 large eggs

Filling

  • 3 tablespoons plant-based mayo
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard (natural)
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Smoky Turkey Bacon

  • 3 slices smoked turkey bacon

Garnishes

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (natural)

Instructions

  1. Hard-Boil the Eggs: Place eggs in a single layer in a saucepan and cover with cold water by about an inch. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then cover, remove from heat, and let them sit for 12 minutes. Transfer the eggs to a bowl of cold water to cool completely, then peel carefully.
  2. Prepare the Filling: Slice the peeled eggs in half lengthwise and scoop out the yolks into a bowl. Mash the yolks with plant-based mayo, yellow mustard (natural), apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper until the mixture is creamy and smooth.
  3. Add the Smoked Turkey Bacon: Cook turkey bacon until crisp, then chop into small pieces. Fold these into the yolk mixture, reserving a few pieces for garnish.
  4. Fill the Egg Whites: Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves, arranging them neatly on a platter. Sprinkle with smoked turkey bacon pieces, chopped chives, and a light dusting of paprika (natural).
  5. Serve and Enjoy: Your Deviled Eggs are ready to be served. Chill for a bit if you prefer them cold, or enjoy them right away they’re a tasty snack either way!

Notes

  • Use older eggs for easier peeling after boiling.
  • Use a piping bag with a star tip for a professional appearance.
  • Taste and adjust mustard or vinegar to balance flavors before assembling.
  • Add more plant-based mayo if the yolk mixture feels dry.
  • Store covered and refrigerate to keep eggs fresh and flavors vibrant.
